He holds a Mechanical Engineer degree from Instituto Politecnico Nacional, an International Executive MBA by Instituto de Empresa in Spain and a Master degree in Organizational Leadership by Instituto Humanista de Psicoterapia Gestalt , he is a Strategic Executive Coach with Neurolinguistics Programming specialization.

Fernando is also co-author of four patents for refinery process equipment.
